I too am a secular conservative. The current actions in the District of Corruption are hard to take. I feel my best course of action is to act locally. Therefore, I have created a blog to try and un-elect my so called representative, Dennis Moore of Kansas.

I have mentioned your blog in one of my two writings. I don't know how to do a mutual link exchange, but would be interested in doing so.

My blog, which I hope I can dedicate sufficient energy towards, is http://dennismooreupdate.blogspot.com/

It is difficult to get political action going. We need to use the net, and get the word out. Maybe persons in each district can set up a blog to get out the facts of their rep. Example ... they voted for a jobs bill ... that is what they say ... when in fact it was a climate change bill driven by cap and trade.

Janus

Maybe I have missed it but I would love to see your thoughts on Free Trade. If you've addreesed it before - please direct me to the location. This blog with your thoughtful readers is an oasis in a very dry land.

Thanks

Clint, it happens every now and again ;) When you get your blog up, send me a link and I'll add you to the blogroll.

BW, most secular conservatives don't advertise the fact that they aren't religious. They tend to get decried as RINOs by the religious nuts and fail to garner base support. The smart ones who have any hope of running for office on day tend to characterize themselves as either fiscal conservatives or libertarians (with a small L -- the Libertarians with a capital L are crazy imo. If you want to read more of THAT I can scan a copy of the official Libertarian article on why Chaney is a member of a secret masonic order that worships the ghost of Napoleon...) Google "libertarian conservative books" and you'll find half a dozen on the first page.

Two random visitors in one day. Coincidence? As an agnostic, I can comfortably say, I think not. So there are more than two of us. Good to know. You took my potential blog name, though, damn it. Now I have to get more creative. When I settle on one and get started, perhaps we can compare notes.
