My children and I, deal with reverse racism on a daily basis. There is actual physical violence that is done to white people from black, and Hispanic people. I cannot even walk down the street in my neighborhood without black and Hispanic people looking at me like they would love to see my demise.

My child was assaulted by six-children (two-boys and four-girls) while coming home from school one afternoon. We had just moved to this neighborhood so we didn’t really know anybody. She had never even layed eyes on these kids and yet they “claimed” at the time that my daughter called one of the girls another word for a female dog. When this girl had the cops go to her house over this matter, she claimed racism. She then changed her story and said that my daughter called her the “n” word. The judge basically called my daughter a racist, and instructed my daughter to be more tollerant! These kids tried to kill my daughter! They were pushing her into moving cars and there was absolutely no punishment for these kids!

Reverse racism? My children cannot play outsde because of it. People, reverse racism does exist.

I actually wrote a paper on discrimination in my community. Would somebody please tell me where I can post it? I would really love for other people to see that racism does still exist and that many times, it is directed at white people.

This post, and the related comments, could not be more dead-on. Only white Americans are ever accused of racism while overt racism from African-Americans is seen as perfectly acceptable. Liberal politicians gloss over this, claiming it’s due to socio-economic discontent. How does that justify it? It doesn’t but it’s such a political grenade that to actually fall on it by telling the truth about the situation amounts to career suicide.

As for the scholarship situation that begins this article, the sad, untold situation is that much of the scholarship money for African-Americans goes unused (http://www.nabse.org/scholarship.htm). Combine that with the fact that African-Americans fail to complete their education, despite 50 years of the majority of school tax earmarks going to their schools, and you must arrive at the logical conclusion that their is a *cultural* issue that must be solved before anything else. Continuing to throw money at it is nonsensical.

Cephus nailed it with his comment regarding about successful black being labelled as “Uncle Toms”. Just look at how Bill Cosby was vilified for trying to do some good within the African-American community. Why? Because it requires HARD WORK! It requires actually putting an effort into BEING A PARENT! It’s much easier to follow Sharpton and coerce more free money from the work of others.

The funny part is, the biggest racists you find tend to be in the black and hispanic communities. People like Sharpton and his ilk are very open that they want to promote being black and acting black above everyone else and suddenly, that kind of thing is okay. How many times do we see the black community coming down against successful blacks who get out of the ghetto as “sell-outs” or “Uncle Toms”? They want people to “act black”. How the hell do you act a color?

In reality, and we see this worldwide, when you’ve got a group of people that have been downtrodden and they are freed, you often see them turn around and strike back in the same way. It wasn’t the racism in this country that was bad, from the appearance in the minority communities, it was that the racism was directed at them. Redirect it somewhere else and racism is apparently just fine.

That’s right Wikipedia. The only problem with that statement is that it’s bigoted against homosexuals and not the BLATANT racism.
