Last week I took a road trip out of town with my girlfriend. Right now I am playing catchup at work and I’m going to be taking time off later this week for a concert. I’m fairly certain there will be no new blog posts until at least a week from today. I apologize for the break in my usual updates, but unfortunately real life has to come first. I’ll get back to the grind as soon as I can.

It was Flight of the Concords. It was an unbelievably awesome show and, as my girlfriend said, “a real cross section of nerddom.” The venue was hot and sweaty, but it wasn’t exactly the performer’s fault Jones Hall is stingy with their AC system. We had a great time. In other news she and I put a deposit down on an apartment this weekend and we’ll be moving in together in late August. It’s been a pretty crazy 2-3 weeks. Two concerts (both in the middle of the week), a road trip, apartment hunting, Mother’s Day, and all while trying to cram my usual work load in the cracks somewhere.
Next post will be Thursday, I’m already working on it. Thanks for your patience and understanding guys.
