Hello,

You’ve reached the Blog of a Secular Conservative.  Either my power or my internet are out or I was forced to leave my home due to storm damage.  Hurricane Ike has made a direct hit on my home town of Houston and for whatever reason I’m still not able to get back here.  I wrote this post on Friday the 12th and set it to publish on Tuesday with the intent of stopping it if I was able to access the site.  If you’re reading this, it means I haven’t been able to secure an internet connection have no idea when I’ll be back to writing.  Thank you for your understanding.
